Since the BC Search and Rescue association maintains a list of BC SAR teams and a map of the regions they are responsible for, I am no longer maintaining this list.

Instead, I am embedding a twitter feed of all BC SAR groups. Feel free to contact me if you would like to be included in this list.

The Volunteer RCM-SAR’s SAR area includes more than 29,500 square kilometres of coastline, 6,500 islands, and approximately 450,000 square kilometres of internal and offshore waters. West Coast of Canada has 46 RCMSAR Stations.

Province Wide

BC Cave Rescue B.C. Cave Rescue is the rescue and training service of organized caving in British Columbia. It is recognized by the Provincial Emergency Program as the lead agency in cave rescue, providing specialized personnel and equipment for cave rescue emergencies on callout by the R.C.M.P. or the P.E.P. Emergency Coordination Centre

Civil Air SAR Association BC (CASARA)
PEP AIR, is a BC-wide volunteer aviation association dedicated to the promotion of Aviation Safety, and to the provision of air search support services to the National Search and Rescue Program.
