Michael died on July 25, 2026, mountain-biking one of his favourite trails in Squamish. He appears to have suffered a sudden, overwhelming aneurism or cardiac event. Found with both hands still on the handle bars, he didn’t see it coming.
Mike lived a remarkable life, cut short too soon. He is missed terribly. I hope being able to come here and read some of his words will bring comfort to his many friends, and help keep his memory alive. Mike’s partner, Sylvia
